- Most important writer is without doubt J.R.R. Tolkien. I own his middle earth books in english,
and I have read them all multiple times.
- I also like Discworld novels, so I like what Terry Pratchett has published.
- Dawid Eddings is also a very good writer, woving nice stories
- Sword & Magic books, need to say more? Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian is also facinating.
- It is long time since I read it, but Douglas Adamns 5 part trilogy of Hitchikers Guide to Galaxy is also very entertaining
- I read lot of books, mainly about war or thrillers.<
- One war writer is over others: Sven Hassel. Although he's books aren't historically accurate,
they are still very entertaining, and tell different kind of tale from WWII
- I also has to mention Donald E. Westlake, he's criminals aren't so fortunate...
- What else... I don't remember everything, I tend to read book or two in a week, been doing that pace since 80's.
